Camping anywhere on the Na Pali Coast requires a permit from Hawaii's Department of Land and Natural Resources. Permits are released on a rolling 90-day window at explore.ehawaii.gov, cost $35 per person per night for visitors and $25 for Hawaii residents, and summer dates go fast. Nobody can get one for you.

Up to five consecutive nights along the Kalalau Trail. No two consecutive nights may be spent at Hanakoa, and any Hanakoa nights count against the five-night total. Miloli'i is capped at three nights.
To go past Hanakapi'ai Valley, yes — a valid Na Pali Coast State Wilderness Park camping permit is required whether or not you camp. To day hike as far as Hanakapi'ai Beach or Falls, no; you need only a Ha'ena State Park entry or parking reservation.
